Fontana, CA (March 30, 2017) - At around 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, an 18-year-old woman was driving a 1999 Ford Explorer westbound on the 210.
The driver lost control of her vehicle for unknown reasons and collided with a roadway sign off the right shoulder, causing her car to overturn.
The driver, Esther Lagunas, was pronounced dead at the scene, while the passenger, an 18-year-old male, was taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
